How to manage and fertilize an orange tree to get more fruit?

Oranges are rich in Vitamin C and are a representative fruit of the citrus family. Today, let's learn about how to manage young orange trees and how to fertilize them for maximum yield.

After planting young orange trees, dig a fertilization pit 1-1.2 meters wide, 40-50 centimeters deep, and 40-50 centimeters wide outside the planting hole. Mix fertilizer with topsoil, apply it to the pit, and cover with soil. Fertilize 1-2 times a year with organic fertilizer, rotating the deep-tilling location each time, until the entire orchard is deep-tilled after 3-4 years.

For 1-3 year old trees, the purpose of fertilizing is to enhance vegetative growth, promote the development of strong branches, and enable the tree to grow rapidly into a productive shape. Fertilize frequently but in small amounts, primarily with nitrogen fertilizer and a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. As the tree ages, the amount and concentration of fertilizer used gradually increase, and foliar fertilizer can be applied to promote the maturation of older shoots.

For young trees planted that year, after the first batch of shoots matures, during the summer and autumn shoot growth period, any early-emerging, scattered new shoots should be removed to ensure uniform shoot growth, resulting in neat, robust new shoots and reducing damage from leaf miners and aphids.

How to manage and fertilize orange trees for better fruit yield? It is recommended to use BOZU water-soluble fertilizer, which uses potassium humate as a carrier, potassium dihydrogen phosphate as a raw material, and EDTA chelated elements. Product effects: Promotes root growth and seedling development, nourishes and protects roots, regulates pH, promotes fruit enlargement and coloring, stabilizes growth, and provides better fertilizer efficacy.
